About WebShuru
WebShuru ("shuru" means start) is a small, independent guide that helps people in India get their first website online without jargon or surprises.
Who runs WebShuru
WebShuru is run by an independent publisher based in India. We are not a hosting company, and we are not owned by, sponsored by or affiliated with Hostinger or any other host.
We started WebShuru because most people we know who want a website (shop owners, consultants, tutors, students) get stuck on the same questions: which plan, what will it really cost after the first year, WordPress or a builder, and how to get found on Google. We try to answer those questions plainly.
Our first-hand experience
This website is itself hosted on a Hostinger Unlimited web hosting plan. Notes in our guides about setup, SSL, the dashboard and performance come from building and running this site. Where we rely on a company's own published information instead of our own testing, we say so.
How we research
- Official sources first. Prices and plan features come from the host's own India pricing page, and policies from its published policy and help pages.
- Dates on everything. Every guide shows when it was last checked. Prices in our guides were last checked on 2 November 2026 (IST).
- Renewal prices, always. We show what you pay later, not just the introductory price.
- Pros and cons. Every review lists real downsides, and who should choose something else.
- No fake social proof. We do not publish invented testimonials, ratings, customer counts or "X people bought today" messages.
How we use AI
We use AI tools to help draft and edit articles and to create illustrations. Every price, feature and policy statement is checked against the official source before publishing, and the images are clearly labelled as AI-generated illustrations, not real customers.
How we make money
Some links on WebShuru are affiliate links. If you buy through them, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. This never changes the facts we report, and we recommend cheaper plans where they are enough. Full details are in our affiliate disclosure.
Corrections
Prices and features change often. If you find something wrong or out of date, please let us know through our contact page and we will correct it and update the date on the page.
